Windows desktop helper + Chrome / Edge extension

Charge QuickBooks totals on your Clover Flex

QBO-Clover-Bridge connects QuickBooks Online on your PC to a Clover Flex running REST Pay Display. Highlight an amount, press a hotkey, or click Charge in the browser — the customer pays on the device.

Features

Minimal tooling for shops that already use QuickBooks Online and Clover.

Global hotkey charging

Highlight a price anywhere — especially in QuickBooks Online — and trigger a sale with a configurable shortcut such as Ctrl+Alt+9.

QBO Charge button

The browser extension adds a Charge control beside invoice and sales receipt totals, then sends the amount to the desktop helper.

Clover REST Pay Display

Posts sales directly to your Clover Flex 4 on the local network using the REST Pay Display API and your Clover OAuth token.

How it works

Three moving parts: QuickBooks in the browser, the bridge on your PC, and REST Pay Display on the Flex.

1

Start the bridge

Run QBO-Clover-Bridge on Windows and open REST Pay Display on your Clover Flex on the same LAN.

2

Pick an amount in QBO

Highlight a balance due total or click Charge from the extension on an invoice or sales receipt page.

3

Customer pays on Flex

The bridge parses the amount and sends a sale to the terminal. Complete payment on the Clover device.

Requirements

Windows 10 or later, .NET 8 Desktop Runtime (or use the portable build), a Clover developer app with REST Pay access, Clover Flex 4 with REST Pay Display installed, and QuickBooks Online in Chrome or Edge for the extension.
